Manufacturing

Rothman supports international manufacturers investing across borders — from market entry strategy and government relations to stakeholder engagement, employee communications, and operational communications for manufacturing sites.

Among our clients, Vulcan Shield Global (VSG) made one of the largest Singaporean manufacturing investments in the European Union, beginning in 2025. We deliver strategic communications for their European entry, positioning, media, government and local stakeholder engagement, and event communications for the establishment of a new advanced manufacturing facility and research centre.

Our Singaporean headquarters supports companies like Jungheinrich, a German material-handling manufacturer expanding across Asia-Pacific. We deliver multi-country communications support, Cultural Intelligence training for the APAC regional team — including China Decoded market intelligence — building cultural understanding as a practical business capability for cross-border operations. For Filtrona, we provide corporate communications and event support, and deep market analysis for business expansion across a wide geographical area, including Central & Eastern Europe and West Africa.

We have supported the manufacturing operations and site communications of leading FMCG companies including Heineken, FrieslandCampina, and Coca-Cola HBC since 2008, and have established strategic partnerships between our clients and local governments in Central & Eastern Europe to secure stakeholder support for new manufacturing investments.

For other established manufacturing clients including Airbus and Knorr-Bremse Rail Systems, we provide ongoing communications support for manufacturing operations — employee engagement, internal communications, and recruitment support.

The Rothman Intelligence Unit published “European Horizons: A Strategic Guide for Singaporean Business Expansion into Europe” in collaboration with the Singapore Manufacturing Federation — providing strategic intelligence for Asian manufacturers considering investment and market entry into the EU.
